AFK farming - Act V THE HIVE

i started a game in the morning and it's still running.. 10 legs today so far

You do know it's dumb to do it in t6 right? Unless you can kill mobs extremely fast, stick with t1 - t3. Ever since ROS came out, they implemented a system where if your character is active and farming for 1-2hours+ then a legendary will guarantee drop. There is no reason to do t6 for a "better chance of leg drop" when you're only killing white mobs. Maybe if you were killing elites then that would be a different story.

I'm doing roughly 80-130 million dps via crusader shield spam, on t6 I kill them before the next wave spawns.

Got DC'ed and remade the game, still works on US. How do you guys setup yours? Kill 1-2/3 Hives or what, and where do you let your hero stand? My game is only spawning 5-6dudes at a time, I wonder if I can do better. Thanks

You can't expect an instant legendary. The drop-rates are low for items, you may not get a legendary for an hour or two. I'm looking at 3 blue weapons and 1 rare weapon right now, after ~10 minutes, so loot definitely drops.

legendary just dropped for me on EU (if it makes a difference)

Currently doing this on T2 on a DH with The Cloak of the Garwolf which makes it so you have 3 wolf companions at the same time. I'm 100% afk and not running a script or anything, just the pet AI and damage is enough to kill off the enemies for me.
I am getting loot and exp so those of you that say its hotfixed are wrong. Right now there are several blue items on the ground but nothing of real value has dropped yet.

Update: Well there were like 3 legendaries on the screen when I woke up this morning. Unfortunately there was also a "You have been disconnected..." dialog box too so I didn't get to actually pick any of them up
